On Saturday, April 26th, the 2025 Pit Boss Showdown took over Rio Grande City — and Payne Rio Grande City Ford and Payne Rio Grande City Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM were front and center for all the action!
This year’s event featured over 150 jaw-dropping vehicle entries, including American classics, muscle cars, and custom lowered trucks that had the crowd snapping photos and turning heads. Whether you’re a gearhead or just love a good car show, Pit Boss delivered.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a true South Texas event without some BBQ in the mix. The BBQ Cookoff Showdown had smoke in the air and delicious flavors on every plate. It was a feast for all the senses!
Payne Auto Group took the fun even further with our Regardless Replay Video Game Bus — where guests could try their hand at Crack the Code for a chance to WIN a 2025 Jeep Compass! It was a hit with attendees of all ages.
Live music was the heart of the event, with Chris Marshall lighting up the stage and showing off his talents in a high-energy performance that had the crowd on their feet.
